The hotel was quaint with pleasant staff members and a cafe bar. I found the property's location lovely and particularly good, not far from a beautifully quaint pub, Chichester and the theatre, and the Downs, Goodwood, Chichester, the seaside. The room was top-notch and large with a bath.

We enjoyed the Goodwood Revival, soaking in the vintage vibes. The food was fantastic and the rooms were cozy and well-furnished. Fresh milk for coffee was a nice touch! Perfect spot for a group getaway to explore local attractions like brewery tours.
The welcome experience felt a bit off. We arrived at the pub, but the staff seemed distracted and we felt ignored upon check-in. It could be improved for a smoother start.

Great vibes, but noisy nights
So, we stayed here last night and loved the friendly staff and the delish breakfast! My room had a cute vibe, but the walls seemed like paper-roommate in 2 was snoring all night! The outdoor dining area was chill, though. Would defo come back, just not in the garden rooms!

We had a lovely time during our two-night stay, especially enjoying the delicious dinner and the cozy family room with comfy beds. The garden area was perfect for relaxing after a long day, and we also loved hanging out in the cozy lounge with a great book. The only slight downside was the walk past the storage area to get to our room, but it didn't take away from our overall experience. 😊

Charming, charming, charming
My Comfort Room offered an atmosphere of coziness with thoughtful amenities like fresh milk for my coffee and chic Bramley toiletries. Plus, the breakfast feasts-especially the Eggs Royale with smoked salmon-were a heavenly start to the day!

We chose this place for a short getaway to explore the nearby attractions. The room was cozy and well-appointed, with great views of the garden that really enhanced our stay. Breakfast was a highlight with freshly baked pastries that were delicious. the service during dinner was a bit slow, which is something to keep in mind if you're hungry after a long day of exploring.

OMG, the homemade ice cream was a game changer! Plus, the breakfasts were well-cooked using locally sourced ingredients. Thank goodness for the ample parking too. A rare find in Chichester!
Hadn't a clue we'd miss out on a proper brekkie on Mon and Tues without a chef in sight! The back area for room access was a bit grim with dustbins in view, and it could've used some floral love to brighten things up.

The Royal Oak offered a lovely stay with a few downsides. The room felt cozy, situated with a beautiful view of the garden. It had nice touches, like quality tea and coffee provisions. Breakfast was a highlight with freshly baked pastries. Staff were generally friendly and helpful, though the dinner service took a bit longer than expected. The food quality varied. Some dishes were excellent, while others felt underwhelming and overpriced. The mattress in our room needed replacing as it was uneven, impacting sleep quality. The decor had certainly seen better days and could use a refresh. It had charm but lacked the luxury promised in its branding.
